Description: Title: Away Synopsis: An exploration of the relationship between three brothers who, after growing up under the reign of an abusive father, realize that breaking away from the past is not as easy as it might seem. Talent breakdowns: Robert (child): A child of 13-15. Quiet, small, possibly slightly overweight. Thomas (child): A child of 14-16. Tall for his age, athletic. Hyper and excited. Rick: A young man who can play anywhere from late teens to late twenties. Tall, attractive. Extremely serious. Harry: A man who can play anywhere from late forties to early sixties. Gruff, ex-military type. Must be fit. Robert (adult): Mid 20's to early 30's. Short, stocky. Extremeley meek and timid. Thomas (adult): Early to mid 30's. Tall, handsome. Arrogant and rude. Abby (child): A young girl of 12-13. Petite. Very quiet and shy. Alice: Mid 40's. A pretty mother dominated by her husband. Woman: 20's. Young, attractive woman. Minor role. Older Woman: A woman in her 50's to 60's. Minor role. We are looking for a makeup artist/artists who can be effective in helping a man look approximately fifteen years older, and/or can make a person look injured and bruised during a fight. Both audition dates will take place at the Dougherty Arts Center in Austin on 1110 Barton Springs Road.
