Description: Popsicle Gang Productions hosting auditions for upcoming short film. "Double Stuffed," a mockumentary(comedy), is the story of two African American male teenagers growing up in a predominantly white suburban area. They are what some may consider "Oreos", but more than anything they want to fit in with the Black Kids at their school. So, they go to extreme lengths to prove themselves worthy and "black enough." Casting for: Manray, 17, older brother of main character Kamal. Manray sort of acts as Kamal's coach throughout the whole ordeal. He's teaching him all the ways to walk, talk and act "black." The only problem is, he's pretty clueless himself. Rob, 17, the leader of the Black Kids. Rob is everything Kamal and Manray want to be. He's cool, but most importantly he represents, to them, the epitome of what being black is all about. He doesn't hate them, or even dislike them, he just doesn't know them. Deep down, he probably wouldn't mind getting to know who they really are. Also need to fill the roles of The Black Kids group(male and female) The White Kids group(male and female), mostly non-speaking, but seen throughout the bulk of the film. These will be considered Extra roles. **Don't need to audition for these parts. However, a headshot/resume must be submitted to be considered. ** Auditions are currently being set-up.
