Many people seem to have an aversion to reading what we have taken the time to write. Or we are doing something wrong? We realize and understand that there is alot of information on the EFM website, it is packed with information and knowledge and can be intimidating, time consuming or confusing. We have tried to separate and categorize. BUT we can tell who has tried to read, studied and or researched. If you think reading and exploring the site is challenging, try writing the content on a daily basis. This web site is not made with magic processes that connects something to your head when you log on. It does not automatically download information into your brain instantly as to how everything works. At least not yet... Unfortunately when you log on you need to READ all the text on the page and click around and read some more... and read some more.... Some posts are purposely duplicated for those who do not click through all the forums. Check out the forums and learn how to post, how to reply and where the buttons and links go to. Read the buttons and links on the forum Learn how to use and insert your link if you have one.. ask us if you do no get it or need help. It seems as though some people would like us to continue rewriting information and instructions that appear in this forum and other places within the web site in an email too and know what, do that as well... Most members read and follow instructions and we spend our time dealing with pertinent issues. We refuse to continue to duplicate all our articles and instructions in emails again and again. If we respond to you with a link to a web page to read, PLEASE read it. If we send you an email PLEASE read it. We only want to be engaged to expand on something that is not covered or UNDERSTOOD. EVERYONE take the time to read the posts. You do not have to do it in one day... Some responses back from members are "just send me detailed instructions via email." NOT!!!!! Read the forums and web site FIRST.. If you are unable to read and follow instructions or take the time to learn ... Read the post from the casting director complaining that people do not read and do NOT follow instructions. We do not know how to get any more detailed than in the web site. We don't have everything covered and always welcome helping you, comments and suggestions. Some members want us to email them what to do over and over again. We want to help and assist but it is frustrating when the person asking is not making an effort too... Some of you are forwarded internet pages to the site to read and some of you still seem to refuse to take the time... here comes that word again... READ. TIP: Take your time, read the posts and then read again and just follow instructions. Read the posts and explore to understand the forum. We have hours of work in articles and instructions and it is here for the reading. We are at a loss as to how to get others to read before they email us with questions that are obviously already addressed in the forum. The EFM moderators and members are here to help as well, if you need additional assistance, speak up. We only know two ways that members can get step by step information and that is to read or call us to talk to a staff member. - Give us your first and last name as listed on the EFM web site
- Tell us the state you are listed in on the EFM web site
- IInclude your EFM web page link if you have one
- Include resume in word doc or within the email
- Include your forum user name
- Include in your email that you are requesting to activate your EFMGOLD membership.

We need to make sure you are properly prepared to access the casting calls and that you are capable of following instructions. You need to have your photos ready, your resume prepared regardless of experience and a properly prepared introduction to insert into your email submissions. We may have a few more questions, if not you will be sent an email through the forum that you have been activated and can now view and submit for auditions. We know this is a tedious process for you as well as the staff but it helps you get your submissions through to casting directors and saves the casting directors time when receiving hundreds of emails for their projects. If your email submission is not professional, you can bet they are getting deleted. Once approved you will have unlimited access and will not have to go through this process again unless you do not keep up the standards set forth to keep your membership.
